Wayne, NJ – UPDATE: Antonio Cruz Killed in Crash on Ratzer Rd
Wayne, NJ (May 31, 2020) – One of two drivers involved in a crash in Wayne on Wednesday, May 27th, has died. Antonio Cruz, 38, was pronounced dead at 4:29 p.m. on Friday, May 29th. Cruz was driving a gray 2016 Honda CRV that struck a utility pole at the intersection of Ratzer Road and Garside Avenue.
Cruz and two other passengers were taken to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment after the accident. The driver of another vehicle involved in the accident was also injured. Jenelle E. Cruz, 38, Heuris Munoz, 35, and an unidentified juvenile were all identified as victims in the collision.
Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
