Washington, NJ – Motorcyclist Killed in Head-On Collision on NJ-57
Washington, NJ (May 15, 2020) – A head-on accident resulted in the death of a motorcyclist on Wednesday, May 13th. The Phillipsburg man riding the motorcycle reportedly collided with a John Deere tractor towing a P-7000 corn planter in Washington. Initial sources revealed the accident took place on NJ-57 at around 7 p.m.
Local authorities reported that the tractor was traveling westbound on NJ-57 at the time of the accident. The 55-year-old man riding the motorcycle was transported to Hunterdon Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased victim hasn’t been released at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is in progress.
