Pedestrian Accidents in New Jersey
New Jersey has the highest pedestrian fatality rate in the country. From 2008 to 2017, pedestrian deaths in the state increased by a shocking 35 percent. 5,977 pedestrians were killed in the state in 2017.
Pedestrians are vulnerable to suffering from life-threatening injuries in the event of a crash. Sadly, many drivers fail to look out for pedestrians as they should. Injured victims should consult with a qualified New Jersey pedestrian injury lawyer to discuss their options for compensation.
