Oakland, NJ – Trucker Injured in Collision on I-287 at Skyline Dr
Oakland, NJ (April 25, 2020) – A truck driver was injured after his big rig collided with a vehicle-carrier and overturned on Friday morning, April 24th. The accident took place near Oakland, at the intersection of I-287 and Skyline Drive. Local officials reported that the collision occurred at around 11:44 a.m.
The 50-year-old Wallington man driving the rig was transported to a hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey following the crash. Sources revealed that the trucker’s tractor-trailer was owned by Environmental Equipment, a limited liability company in Woodland Park. The car-carrier, registered to Supreme Auto Transport, of Longmont, Colorado, also overturned, but the driver didn’t sustain injuries.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently underway.
