Jefferson, NJ – Passenger Killed in Accident on Berkshire Valley Rd
Jefferson, NJ (April 28, 2020) – A single-vehicle collision in Jefferson left one person dead and another seriously injured. A 1973 Chevrolet Nova was traveling on Berkshire Valley Road when the vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree. Jefferson Township police officers were called to the scene at around 8 a.m.
A male passenger in the vehicle was killed in the impact. The driver of the vehicle was taken to Morristown Medical Center for the treatment of sustained injuries. At this time, the identities of the victims haven’t been released.
Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
