Hackensack, NJ – Red-Light Collision at Summit & Central Ave
Hackensack, NJ (May 8, 2020) – On Tuesday morning, May 5th, in Hackensack a driver ran a red light and caused a crash. The accident occurred at the intersection of Summit Avenue and Central Avenue. Initial reports revealed that the 50-year-old driver of a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder had a red light but continued through the intersection.
The Nissan collided with a 2020 Hyundai Sonata and overturned, knocking down a utility pole. All occupants of both vehicles were able to escape their respective vehicles. At this time, the severity of the resulting injuries hasn’t been disclosed.
Local officials are currently conducting an ongoing investigation into the accident.
