Hackensack, NJ – Man Arrested in Fatal Crash at Sutton Ave & Polifly Rd
Hackensack, NJ (July 12, 2020) – A 27-year-old Hackensack man was killed after being involved in a hit-and-run collision on Saturday, July 11. The accident occurred near the intersection of Sutton and Polifly Road at around 12:39 a.m. that morning. The victim was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities later arrested Gonzalez Ramirez, 36, in connection with the deadly accident. Ramirez was charged with fleeing the scene of a crash involving bodily injury, endangering an injured victim, and hindering his arrest. He is currently being held in the Bergen County Jail.
The identity of the deceased victim has not yet been released. Local authorities are currently investigating the accident.
