Fort Lee, NJ – Jada Smith Killed in Hit-&-Run on NJ Tpke
Fort Lee, NJ (June 4, 2020) – A 21-year-old Teaneck woman in was fatally struck by a tractor-trailer in Fort Lee on Thursday, May 28th. The accident took place on the New Jersey Turnpike at around 10:25 p.m. The deceased victim was later identified as Jada Smith.
Initial reports revealed that Smith had exited her SUV after being involved in a multi-vehicle collision on I-95. The driver of the semi-tractor that hit Smith fled the scene of the accident. No other injuries were reported.
Local authorities are currently investigating the incident.
